I have twelve years of experience in the insurance industry, having worked for major insurance companies such as BMI, Magna Life Settlements and Vida Capital.
From 2007 I preside over the American Medical Underwriters Association, consultant organization of the insurance industry.
I am an Active Member of the American Academy of Insurance Medicine and Corporate Wellness Certified Specialist.
I started my career as Medical Ophthalmology in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I majored in Computing applied to Healthcare working for important companies like IBM Argentina, as Solutions Specialist for the Healthcare Industry.
During twelve years, I presided the Medical Informatics Foundation, organization dedicated to improve healthcare conditions of population by the use of informatics and new technologies.
I have had the privilege to collaborate as consultant of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), in Washington, the Economic Commission for Latin America (ECLAC) in Chile and the World Health Organization (who) in Geneva.
During three four-year periods, I was International Representative of IMIA-International Medical Informatics Association, chairing the Working Group of Informatics for Developing Countries. This experience allowed me to work with multicultural groups, to get the training to explore the needs specific of each group and research the best solutions.
